Okay, so one thing about this article really pisses me off.
“Sanford issued a statement Friday as his wife and several other women packed boxes into SUVs and left the governor’s mansion in a caravan.”
Why is that detail relevant? It just bothers me, like the ladies are sticking together. Also, the idea that the governor’s staff is male, and her staff is female. It just suggests all sorts of male/female nonsense that I just don’t find necessary here. Suggested non-assinine revision:
“Sanford issued a statement Friday as his wife and several staffers packed boxes into SUVs and left the governor’s mansion in a caravan.”
